Southwest Rapid Rewards - ATL to MCO
I am confused by Southwest's Web page. On it there is a link to their Interactive route map. According to it, Southwest flies non stop between ATL and MCO. When I try to book a flight all I see are 1 stop fights each way. I even tried to ask them using their Twitter page, but I have not gotten a reply from them in over 24 hours. I wonder if they are including Airtran in this map? I hope not unless I can use a Southwest credit on Air Tran. Anybody know?
Check far into the future dates. It was that way for SFO to ATL too until I went out a few months.
Far in the future does not help me. I was thinking of a quick couple of days of R&R next month. It also "upsets" me that Southwest did not bother to reply to the tweet one way or another. Not good customer service(which is what most big companies use Twitter for).

Non-stop service begins Oct. 1.
Thank you Lougord. I wish that they would have put this on the page. They mention a few other destinations that will start at a future date, but nothing about Orlando. Not to beat a dead horse, but it would have been nice if SW had replied to my inquiry with this simple answer.
If I did not have a $45 Southwest credit to use, I would just move on and look at Delta or AirTran. What is Orlando like in October?
Wow. I looked at October dates and I see that they have 1 nonstop fight each day(except Saturday-2 flights to MCO, but still 1 to rtn). The times of these flights definitely not made with vacationers in mind. Leave ATL at 8PM get there at 9:30PM. That means getting to hotel around 10:30 pm-wasted day. Rtn flight leaves at 6:15 AM!!!! Oy. great for a business man, maybe.

I dont really like that when traveling business either unless I have early meetings. For short hops I rather leave early in the morning to get there and not have to spend an extra night hotel fee while there.
