India-based Airlines - query on upgrade vouchers and miles on Jet Airways

hello all
can anybody throw some light on these queries about jet airways;
1. how many award seats are there in a particular flight ?
2. does it work separately for upgrading with jp miles and vouchers ? for eg if i have one seat with upgrade vouchers...can i get another one with miles on the same flight ?
3. how busy is Delhi - Hong Kong - Delhi route in first week of January for an upgrade ?

1. how many award seats are there in a particular flight ?

jet does not have a fixed number....they are very bad with releasing award seats so very often you won't find any....but if you are lucky you will have 2 in economy & 1 in première....some route will have 3 in economy & 2 in première but that is extremely rare....

2. does it work separately for upgrading with jp miles and vouchers ? for eg if i have one seat with upgrade vouchers...can i get another one with miles on the same flight ?

recently they have made a change in policy so a redemption booking & the voucher upgrade fall in different classes....but then again it is extremely rare to find 2 upgrade/redemption seats in première....

3. how busy is Delhi - Hong Kong - Delhi route in first week of January for an upgrade ?

as far as upgrades are concerned, it will be difficult to find one on jet throughout the year....

i just wish jet would get its act together....i miss the 2008-09 days when jet was really customer friendly....

you're right Keyser...really miss the old Jet...but im not sure whether they would retain that old sheen anytime soon...but i feel they are trying very hard....i had some service issues with them and couple of days later i get a call from them apologising and informing me that they have upgraded me from silver to gold....it was a pleasant surprise but im sure people's assessment is more on case to case basis....here i must admit their call centres are pathetic.
