Amtrak Guest Rewards - Amtrak Guest Rewards Signup Referral - Ticketed not Traveled

Hi everyone,

I referred a friend to the AGR, they purchased a ticket, but had something come up and weren't able to travel.

The cost of their trip was pretty minimal, just like $28.

If they don't ask for a refund. do you think the ticketed but untraveled trip will post to our AGR Signup Referral?

Not a chance. That would open up a huge can of worms if Amtrak allowed that.

As they said, no-To earn the points, the trip must be completed, and ticket scanned (or whatever the Conductor does) to show the trip was made. Sorry!
