I recently booked a room in Paris online, and received confirmation email. Tonight, just received an email stating (in French this time) that my reservation has been cancelled as requested.
I called up PC, and the agent was completely disinterested. He did state that this occured online, but couldn't give any more details. It's entirely possible there were no more details to give. I immediately changed my online PIN, but this is of some concern, since it suggests my account has been hacked.
However, if so, it's rather odd to cancel a money reservation, and none of my points have been used, and my email address etc. for the account remain unchanged -- all very odd.
My feeling is that this is an IT glitch and an accidental cancellation by PC, but agent did not think so. Anyone else experience anything similar recently?
