United MileagePlus (Consolidated) - UA 945 ORD-FRA disappears from schedule for Turkey Day

I was hoping to get back home early for the night before thanksgiving and the up to now reliably scheduled 8am FRA-ORD drops off the schedule from 19 Nov to 23 Nov. Expertflyer says it should run daily, but it completely disappears on those days.

My itinerary was updated with no notice of the schedule change. I am hoping it is a SHARES glitch and the flight is re-loaded, but i am doubtful.

Airlines often change around their schedules around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Still, I don't see a reason for this flight to disappear for 4-5 days.

It may be that if the schedule is disrupted for the holiday, there is a different flight number for the period of frequency change.

Looks like they dropped 944 over and thus don't have the plane for the return (945).
