Hello all,

I have a BD redemption booking in C with LH flying DUB-FRA-MEX and back in October.

I have just logged into checkmytrip and I see that the time between the MEX-FRA and FRA-DUB on my return is now only 45 mins (flight times have changed slightly). I thought the MCT for connecting to/from a LH intercontinental flight was 1 hour.

I know LH will put me on the next flight if I miss my connection to DUB, but if the connection is below the MCT, does it render the whole itinerary 'invalid'?

No, if the ticket was issued that way LH will accomodate you, since its no fault of yours. Asking BD to touch an award issued on LH is pointless, so better leave it as it is...

I second this. Leave it as it is.

45 min is usually enough at FRA. The DUB flight will most likely wait for connecting pax.

If ticketed your connection/ticket is valid.

Thanks for the advice - this was my biggest fear!

45 mins coming from MEX and connecting ti DUB in FRAnkensteins Hell would be pure luck IMHO. But if it was ticketed this way you have a remote chance that LH ground will organize a rapid transfer, picking you up at the gate and ferrying you to your connecting flight. In these case checked bags rarely make it though.
