United MileagePlus (Consolidated) - Star Gold + nonmember on same PNR...both get benefits?

I'm doing a pretty big overseas move, and I have myself (Gold) flying with my girlfriend (no status) on the same PNR.

In the past, I recall that if you check in together, you both get the same elite benefits...by the way the system worked.

Is this still the case? Would we each get 3 checked bags or is it a total gamble?

Thanks for the insight for those in the know...

I believe you will only get the elite benefits. You can take her into the lounge.

Same PNR, your guest should also get the three bags.

My younger sister (*S with Thai) and my older sister (no status) under the same PNR, each checked one bag with United in April. They were ready to pay for one bag $25 but the check-in agent didn't charge my older sister any which made me believe *S status was applied for the whole PNR.

And priority boarding. In fact, if it's anything like PMCO, the guest should get "Premier Access" printed on their BP.

Yeah that's what I remember from PMCO...was hoping it was the same now. Seems like it is?
