Alitalia MilleMiglia - Redemptions: first class and surcharges

What is the policy with first class? They have a fair amount of excellent partners with first class. Are redemptions allowed? Also, what are the surcharges like? AFAIK it looks like Delta without 3 levels of awards.

If I remember rightly you can't redeem F on partner airlines.
Personally can't think of a skyteam F I would really like to fly on. AF J is good on A380 and F on A380 might be the only thing to tempt me

All the great F redemptions are on Staralliance ( SQ-SR and even LH and TG )

Even oneworld doesn't drive me wild but I've never flown CX.. BA F not worth the upgrade apart from the Concorde Lounge

KE A380F should be on par with OZF, if not better. With KE you can redeem for F. MH F redemptions with AZ would be cool if they allowed it.

Have to say that 80000 mile redemptions on Italy - US return in J is excellent value with less tax than AF / KL or BA
Very goof value and I wouldn't swap 80000 miles AZ with 118000 BA
