Other Asian, Australian and South Pacific Frequent Flyer Programs - Nha Trang to Bangkok - Vietnam Airlines

I need to get from Nha Trang to Bangkok connecting to a midnight BA BKK-LHR flight. Is Vietnam Airlines via HCMC or Hanoi my best option? If so, do they interline with BA so I can check my bags all the way through to my final destination (JFK)?

interlining has nothing to see with alliances. Airlines have multiple interlining agreements, in and outside their alliance. It's likely that BA and VN have interlining agreements, but to be sure, the only way is to ask one of the 2 airlines, or to ask a travel agent.

Certainly they've interlined with EVA and TG in the past for me, and CX for Ms Jimbo.
