Hertz - combining AAA discount with airline miles

i'm newbee and apology if this is dumb question to ask here.

I see best rate with AAA site for hertz. how can i also earn airline miles with it? i don't see any field to enter airlines membership number.

any best deal to book car rental in hawaii?

If you go into your profile on Hertz.com there is a section that allows you to choose between Hertz points or airline miles, letting you put in your airline and FF number. It's not needed on the reservations, it's handled in the back end.

1.Hertz allows to enter all my airline FF number,hotel membership etc., how do they credit miless? i dont think they will credit points/miles to all my membership. Should I just enter my preferred FF number alone?
2.AAA says i will get 500 hertz points after first rental. i will get both bonus points and miles. am i correct?

I believe you have to choose if you want points or miles, and if you have multiple mileage accounts and choose miles, which one to credit to.

Yes, this is all done on the page where you enter your billing details, etc. They will give you the option for points or miles, with a drop down to select which program to credit to.
