I have an upcoming convertible rental and I've been lurking about the forums for some time, registered since I had a question which had no answer. I noticed that they're listed as being both in Terminal 1 & 3 and was wondering which I should go to/which is better when I pick it up, I'm a local renter but only the airport had convertibles seemingly?

I was also wondering if the US stock list is applicable in Canada too or whether different convertibles are available here? I notice that the standard STAR is 200 Convertible in US vs Ford Mustang here.

If you are taking the Airport Express, I would book at T1, as it is the first stop for the TTC bus. Can't speak of what they have for convertables, as I avoid them.

Hi! Thanks for the response, I'm getting a lift in to the airport so bus is not an issue, I think I may go with T1 since it has a (looks like it at least) bigger parking lot, so in theory more cars?

In theory, yea. If you have tons of time, you can walk the lot at T1, then take the tram over to T3 (or vice versa). Or just ask at the Gold booth.

I find it depends on the person working the desk, and THAT is a crap shoot.

Terminal assignments are done based on your arriving flight number. They have a bunch of new 2013 Mustangs right now, and from what I can remember, it's a mix of V6's and 5.0's.

Hmm.... That should be interesting. I haven't got an arriving flight no., only renting from the airport since they said its their only location with convertibles....ah well we'll see, here's hoping for the 5.0. If i spot one I could ask for it right? Or would it be a paid upgrade?
