Hi, I was just confirmed with Ambassador status and was able to book the free night for one night of our weekend stay while in HK. I booked Superior Harbour View with the expecation of upgrade to Deluxe HV based on this forum(thanks!). Then I planned on using one of our Chase nights for the third night at HK and paying for an upgrade to Deluxe Harbor View.
However, we also plan on going to Bali...so now I am trying to see if it is worth it to use either the BOGO Amb and/or Chase nights at the IC Bali resort instead. I called and they do have availability for the Chase night - basic room only. The Ambassador site shows availability for a top suite at $1000 a night only.

Never been to either HK or Bali....I want to get the best value for our Chase nights and my Ambassador free night. I would really appreciate any advice.
Thank you!

I have been to both IC Hongkong and IC Bali.

I got an upgrade in IC HK to Harbour Front view and a suite upgrade in IC Bali ( using reward stay).

I would advise you use the BOGO cert at IC HK and if you have enough PC points just do a reward stay in IC Bali at 30K PC points a night ( or roughly $180 equivalent). IC HK ( not Grand Stanford) costs 2-3X as much per night compared to IC Bali and also is about at 50K PC points on a reward stay.

Check the paid night though for IC Bali because they could be lower than or should be around $180/night.

Thank you Me2Earth. I guess what threw me was that with the BOGO I was offered a 1 KING BUKIT SUITE 152 SQM....but we don't really need that level of accommodation. :-)

I haven't stayed at the HK IC but at the Bali one you really need to stay in a club room at least. The Club Lounge there really is very nice. The Bukit Suites are lovely with great views of the club pool and the beach. The Uluwatu and Jimbaran suites are also gorgeous - to get an upgrade to one of these you need to book a Balinese Suite.
