Hi,

I'm seeking a car/limousine transfer from HKG airport to Hong Kong island. I believe that Hong Kong has no requirement for car seats!!

As a result i'm struggling to find a company that will supply a forward facing car seat for an 11 month old, can anyone help??

I think we'd have too much luggage etc to get the airport express and there is no way i will be travelling on motorways with her on my lap.

Same for Singapore, but that seems a little more promising from a quick google search.

An 11 month old shouldn't be in a forward facing seat, anyway.

Thankfully fully pretty much every country (including US) makes an exception for taxis. We took a taxi in SFO and hotel car in YVR without car seats.
BTW it is very common in HKG and SIN to put strollers on escalators (just to give you a fair warning).

If locals manage just fine, perhaps you should put you fears aside...

Just because it's legal, doesn't mean that a child is perfectly safe in a lap. The laws of physics still apply in H.K. Please look into public transport options to the airport. I believe there is a train. Please make smart safety choices for your child, even when traveling.
