Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Involuntary re bookings. What to do?

Was originally booked CPH-FRA-SIN departing CPH 09FEB13 arriving SIN 10FEB13 on LH 778. LH778 was cancelled, and i was re-scheduled to CPH-MUC-SIN arriving on (the already cancelled) LH790 10FEB13 (and assured by agent that the flight was not cancelled). Then i received notification that I was rebooked onto LH778 arriving on 11FEB13. After a few phone calls I.was offered a rebooking on SQ/LH 9764 through FRA, putting me in SIN on 10FEB13 and received a confirmation. But now Lufthansa put me back on the flight arriving SIN on the 11th, and claims that the only alternative is a full refund. Is there anything to be done? I've never been kicked of flights like this before, and although my ticket is in Eco, an I hold no status on LH I don't feel LH is treating me very nice. Any advice?

The fact that they put you on the SQ operated flight already shows a precedent that they have a reprotection agreement for the cancellation. Call again and insist on being put back onto the SQ codeshare flight.

Looking into the KVS-tool, there seems to be no flight at all on the Feb 9th from FRA to SIN. I have doubts, this is correct

OTOH, there is CPH-SIN direct on SQ351, which still has space for sale in economy, I would ask for that one @:-)

Did that, and it worked. I am now back in a seat on the SQ operated LH 9764 arrriving SIN on the 10th. Phew. Keeping my reservation with LH feels a bit like riding a rodeo bull. I hope that the rebooking robot does not decide to kick me off the flight again.
