InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Status Matching

I'm sure there is a thread on this but can't find it after sifting through 4 pages of threads...

Does PC status match still? If so what programs will they match to?

Last year I got my Best Western Diamond and Marriott Gold into IHG Plat.

Be careful when you match; they will only give status for the remainder of the year. I matched last year at the end of September and thus only got the status for 3 months! They were very strict with not extending this.

So status matching is better to do in the beginning of the year.

What about the reverse? What would IHG RA get me with the competition if I asked them?

I'm a Canadian and BW status matched me to Diamond based on my PC platinum status.

Just got Marriott Silver matched to IHG Gold

Is HHonor still match to PC?

When i first joined Priority Club around 2 years ago, they gave me PC Platinum to status match my Hhonors Diamond.

I got PC Plat with HHonors Gold.

Ditto, IHG matched my HHonors Gold to PC Plat

So not true - I got BW Diamond for PC RA via the local BW office in Europe. They even had the form in the local lingo

Also for me from Europe they did match my Club Carlson Concierge level with Best Western Diamond level

I just signed my wife up for the Chase Priority Club card which gets her PC Platinum due to the 80k sign-up bonus. Has anyone leveraged that for status with the other hotel chains?

You can always inquire for Best Western and Club Carlson status - they usually match within a couple of days - they did for me.

+1, matching to PC Plat is easy.

Just called, and was asked to email credentials to the associate I spoke to. (We matched from Marriott Platinum to Priority Club Platinum). Sent the email, with a PDF of the Marriott Platinum details and received a call back in under an hour informing us that the Priority Club Status had been upgraded to Platinum.

Very easy.

Has anyone taken a PC Plat and matched it with SPG Plat?

Or Marriott Gold and matched with SPG gold?

I am sure the first one is a stretch!
