American Express Membership Rewards - Churning Amex Cards
I have an Amex BCE I plan to keep open and was planning on churning CITI only until I realized how hard it is to recon with me. So now I'm thinking of churning Amex SPG/Hilton/Color cards.
When it comes to churning Amex cards, will I run the risk of Amex flagging me as a risk and closing my current BCE card?
How often can you churn SPG/Hilton/Color cards?

They are pretty tight with their cards, must more than Citi and Chase,,,but you can exchange them
What do you mean by exchange them? Like product switch?

On AMEX cards they usually say you can get the bonus on the same card every two years or so. There are new terms on the apps for the charge cards that say something about 12 months. As always YMMV. People report various results.
AMEX reacts more like Chase than Citi. If they have you on record for having the cards previously, you get the card but you don't get the bonus.
The only way they would close your current card is if they do a financial review on you and they don't like something on your tax returns and then they close all your cards. But that does not happen very often. Just don't apply for too many cards too soon and you should be okay.
