Hi all,

I've booked the IC Bali for two nights in August for 20K points plus $60 per night.

I have the option of upgrading to a Club Room for $180 + 21% taxes per night, for a total of $435.60. Of course, this saves me from having to pay $24 in transfers, ~$50 for breakfasts and ~$20 for internet, so it's really just an extra $340 for lots of extras.

One of the main attractions for us is the fact that there seem to be snacks available for 24 hours. It's unclear from the website whether these snacks are

(1) free, although I assume they are
(2) vegetarian-friendly (neither of us eat fish, chicken or meat)

If we can just snack all day long, it might save us from having to order lunch, for example, further increasing the value of this upgrade.

Can anyone comment on the array of available snacks, and their cost (if any)?

Thanks!

From when we went a year ago, throughout the day, they serve a snack platter which has nuts and crisps etc. Then there are tables with some further snacks in the evening, with fruits, cheeses etc.

Finally during the evening they serve small dishes alongside, which vary from day to day. From memory, there was satay, vegetables, duck pancakes etc. And yes that's all free. You also get some lovely cocktails, which can get you quite merry :D

You can also take all of this by the separate club pool, rather than the lounge if you fancy.

IC Bali has one of the best clubs in the IC folio. It isn't as good as it was about 2/3 years ago, but it's still pretty amazing. Breakfast in multiple locations is pretty great, and use of the second 'inspiration' lounge where you can borrow iPods, Books, DVD's and use PCs and printers is great also. $340 for just two nights, is debatable if it's worth that though. Will they sell you club access for less than that, without having to upgrade the room type?
