JetBlue TrueBlue - Concert at T5

Just noticed B6 announced a concert on August 22nd in T5 featuring The Wanted. My kids really would love to see them in person. The concert is being held past security and only those flying through or "lucky radio winners" will be able to see them. Any suggestions on how to get in without buying a ticket or burning TB points ? Right now, the cheapest I can find out of JFK is 69 or 5,000 points.

A little fax paus, but if you have the funds available (probably $600 a piece for the cheapest flight) buy how every many refundable tickets you need for a flight hours later.

Once you clear security, call/go online and cancel the tickets for a full refund.

This tactic has been used several times before by other members of this forum to check out new terminals/etc.

I usually buy a refundable on the late Puerto Rico flights to give myself enough time to cancel after the show. :-:

If the flight time is too close (I think 3 hours is the cutoff but I'm not sure) then the phone agents cannot offload you because it goes to airport control and that makes things more complicated. Needless to say I only had that issue one.
