News to me, maybe not to you. Allegiant now imposes a 25 lb limit on your carryon besides the usual 22 x 14 x 9 dimensions. No free carryon suitcase, you pay for your carryon. You may not buy priority boarding unless you also pay for a carryon bag. The only free bag is your personal item which must fit under the seat. The largest personal item would be the size of a typical rolling briefcase. Allegiant has been been charging for checked baggage; now the weight limit is reduced to 40 lbs.
