Budget - Early rental return

I'm renting a car in PDX from Aug 22 @ 8:00 PM and returning it on Aug 25.My original rental was to be returned around 12:30 PM. I'm now returning it at 6:30 AM.

Will I be charged for an early return, and if so, how much?

I have never been charged extra for returning a car six hours early on the due date.

Until my flights changed, they wanted to charge me an extra $40 for keeping it an extra hour. Doubt I will rent from Budget again.

They do charge for extra hours though that is high. Some agencies have a 59 minute free grace period but at 1 hour they charge.

My original rate was considered 3 days. Now I am 2 days + hourly. Extra $40. That's what they just told me. So stupid.

You just renting a car from Aug 22(8:00PM) to Aug 25(12:30) and you returned it on 6:30AM on 25th Aug then why you will charged or fined for early return .I think its already profit for that company.You have to pay nothing for this .
