Canada - Toronto Airport Car Service Question
I couldn't find any current threads on this topic. I'm arriving in Toronto on Aug 11 at 1500 from LHR. I need to get to Thornhill area of Toronto but wanted to know if its better to just take a taxi or prebook a car. In London its always less expensive to prebook a car, is Toronto similar? Can anyone recommend a car service to prebook?

It's the same price. This guy is good if you need a recommendation - my office uses him all the time: http://hlslimo.ca/

if anything it is likely cheaper to not prebook - the issue you may have is on occasion they do not have limos/taxis at the airport and you wait - I use a livery service for all my travel needs so any of them should do the trick - one has already been recommended so I would give them a try.

Excuse my ignorance but why would it be necessary to pre-book? Whenever I've gone to the limo stand at YYZ T1 there's always at least one there, or a maximum 1 or 2 minute wait away. Usually at the OP's arrival time there are 5 or 6 limos ready to roll.
What happens if you pre-book and there is a flight delay (with AC, that's of course a hypothetical question...)?

There have been occasions that there have not been cars available - it happens - and then you wait and wait. If you prebook - the car company tracks your flight and they arrive when it lands or shortly before or they wait at the airport - that is part of their service.

I use Aerofleet - it's $2 less if you call them when you land vs. getting a car from the queue (I don't choose them because of the $2 but it's better than nothing).
