Credit Card Programs - miles for checks citi?

I have a citi aadvantage platinum card. The monthly statement always contains checks for use against the account. If I use a check, will I receive miles for the amount I spend? Thanks (first time poster, I hope I am in the right place)

this is for balance transfer, no miles, plus a 3% automatic charge...no miles!

plus, you pay interest on the advance....
