I have highest status with Carlson. We are 2 adults + 2 kids trying to go on family vacation to both Sydney and Paris next year. I will redeeming points for this stay. I was wondering which is the excellent use of points for which city - Paris or Sydney. I can only use points for only one destination. Let me know the other factors - close to metro, tourist attractions, room comfort, free breakfast & Internet etc?

If you're trying to get four people in a room in those cities you probably won't have much choice. Go with whatever has room for four on CC points. Many won't do it for four.

Agree! There was no way that 4 people were going to fit in the room we just had at the Radisson Blu Paris Champs Elysees. I did research on all the other Paris hotels priort to booking the Champs and the rooms are not large at any of them.

Any way to fit 3? It seems like as soon as you go above 2 people, almost all award availability goes away. We're traveling as 3 for a week and will be in Paris and London and would like to use some CC points for a couple nights.
