Virgin Atlantic Flying Club - JFK arrivals for UC?

I'll be flying LHR-JFK in UC and have to meet a friend arriving on the later flight (arriving about 3 hours after me) also in UC, is there any sort of arrivals lounge there, or can I get into the lounge if its in the same area?

First ever VS UC flight so anything else I need to know would be great! Many thanks!

As to arrivals at JFK no there isn't one, arrivals is really intended for early morning arriving and those on business who need to freshen up and head to work, hence it's at LHR only.

At JFK in the same boat as you I used to go to The Lounge (which you could pay to enter or use Priority Pass). That seems to have gone with all the terminal developments ... so you could try the Oasis Lounge but I'm not certain what the entry criteria are there but it is before security.

I would say the most important thing about your first UC flight from LHR is to arrive at the clubhouse early enough to enjoy it!! The Clubhouse and the UC bar on board are the 2 reasons i most prefer Virgin over other carriers!!
