Hilton HHonors - Getting best value for Hhonors points for short stay ??

Hi FTers,

I have been through most of the posts that talk about getting best value for Hhonors points.

I will be traveling across Europe and I will be staying 2-3 days at most of Hilton properties. Most of them being Cat 6,7.......

I have also seen that several properties do not offer points + cash.

Is there a list of hotels that offer points + cash?
Can I do anything such that my stay can be booked at less than 40000 points per night?

You could try the HH website. Do a dummy booking and see which properties come showing a points and cash option.

Also be sure to look for premium room rewards priced at less than a standard night. This is a rare occurrence, but I believe someone posted here about booking an executive room at the Hilton Amsterdam Airport for fewer points than a standard room.
