Argentina - Buenos Aires Taxi Fare calculation tool.

Here's a nifty little tool (http://www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Buenos-Aires-Argentina) which may prove useful for visitors to BA. I found using the POI drop down index more reliable for getting results returned.

Just been announced that taxi fares will increase by 12-20% depending on the time of day.

Just been announced that taxi fares will increase by 12-20% depending on the time of day.It's already out of date since the taxi fares increased last Sunday:
Day Rate - Flag fall is now $8.20 with a metered rate of $0.82
Night Rate (22hrs - 6hrs) - Flag fall is now $9.80 with a metered rat of $0.98

In October the rates will increase to $9.10/$0.91, $11.00/$1.10.

It's not a bad guide though and no two same journey taxi fares in the capital are the same anyway....increase or not. :D
