United MileagePlus (Consolidated) - PMCO 764 Hawaii Config Seating Question

Hey guys,

Travelling with the family to HNL tomorrow and went to check-in and found that my seat 10A had fallen victim to the SHARES random seating changes glitch and was reassigned 33A away from the rest of my family. 10A was occupied by the time I found the error. I was able to snag 31A, which is also a bulkhead but I am worried that this seat does not actually have a window. Can anyone tell me if the window is there?

Very disappointed as I had had 10A assigned since May 24th.

Thanks,

UA Tulip

kinda off topic here but does UA does anything special on their flights to Hawaii anymore? (halfway to hawaii, mai tai, etc?) what kind of service should one expect in F class on a CO-operated flight?

They do add some games and different types of beverages... depends on the flight attendants working the trip.

Thanks ugleeual... I experienced a pretty fun flight on a UA metal.. Good to know CO crew does similar things on Hawaii flights.

Had halfway to Hawaii game on 7/27 SFO-HNL on a UA operated flight. I'm not a drinker so I don't know about the Mai Tai's.

This has happened to me a few times to/from HNL.

The only way I could get it fixed, and me back into my seat, was to go to the UC and have the ladies there fix it. ^^

I normally don't care if I'm separated from my husband, but I had selected seats many months before, and on the overnight portion of the flight, I like to sleep next to someone I know in the event I fall over. :)

Noticed we are in 4AB on a pmCO 764 in a few weeks. These are the non reconfigured 764's w 7 rows in F. They do change this to newly configured flight at times with 8 rows in F and I'm afraid we may lose our seats if they do this.

As opposed to you, I actually have enjoyed waking up next to strangers when going to Hawaii :D but as I'm travelling w my girl friend, it would be nice if I could be sure UA will keep us together

I've also had the equipment switch to the 4 row configured BF section, so now, I make sure I'm in row 4 or lower so we won't lose our seats.

My issues with the seat swaps have always been in Y, or if it happened in BF, I either switched, didn't care, or ended up in the center row.

There's sparkling wine, Mai Tais and I had half way to hawaii consistently on flights operated by exUA. Flew yesterday IAD-HNL on exCO and there was no half way to Hawaii, so maybe exCO flights don't offer it [don't have enough evidence to support the claim :)].

The swap does happen from time to time. Mainly during peak summer, which already ended. In economy I would still prefer the comfort of the mini cabin, with 10 AB my favorite by far.

I've had the equipment change happen to me during the fall and winter, as well as summer.
