Does anyone know if this would work booking with miles?Yes.. assuming this is a round trip you can have a stopover in your booking. So Tokyo is your destination, and somewhere in Thailand is your stopover point on the way home.

And making the stopover in Thailand won't be too far out of the way for them to book. It's crazy that it's actually going to be less miles if I can do it this way. Round trip to thailand is 125k but to tokyo is only 120k
