This hotel is a beautiful property and in a good location near the train station, restaurants and city landmarks. There is a great Turkish restaurant next door as well. Awesome deal at 32 Euro. Thanks for the info.

You must remember to use the 'Rate Preference' pull-down menu and select the 'Exclusive 2 for 1' rate, not the 'best available' rate.

It works for other IHG (InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express) hotels across Europe as well. Just change destination. *** IC in Warsaw is definitely the best hotel there. Even standard rooms are great! I absolutely love this hotel. And for that price that's just wrong not to use that, lol.

yeah, I use this all the time. It has been around forever. Publically available. Also earns points although it states that it does not (just as a warning)

reviews of the hotel? how is the club? Debating on booking this rate for 40 euro/night or using the BOGO for a 129 club room.....wondering what would be a better value taking into account the RA upgrade.

looking up some of the history, some people got upgraded to junior suite (which has 2 separate rooms). not sure if it was on the 241 rate though.

also club on weekends isnt that great apparently.

Best usage i feel is on Sundays. Monday rates can get really expensive (170 EUR for a recent booking I looked up). So if you can 2 for 1 on a Sunday, you get monday free. that's a steal.

it was when i just checked....but will RA benefits be honored on a rate like that??? when I go to enter guest details it says i will earn 2000 points, so it must be a qualifying stay.

The rule on IDEX1 rates is that - if you look at the booking confirmation - you pay full for night 1 and nothing for night 2. Priority Club therefore treat it (on paper) as 1 fully qualifying night and 1 non-qualifying night, although most hotels post it as 2 qualifying nights.

You also get full points, albeit only 2k as this is a European IC.

If you do NOT get points, query it with PC and they will correct it. Points are 100% guarannteed.

Note that if you enter all the codes in the sticky on the Priority Club board (eg '3000 points for your next stay'), you will get around 15,000 points for your stay, assuming you haven't used the codes before - that is enough for 3 Point Break nights or 1 night in a lot of Holiday Inn's.

so is the consensus that the weekend club is not that good? I need to book a room there this week and still debating over using this rate or one of my two BOGO on a club room and then taking the upgrade from the club room.

I believe that option is only available for RAs and not regular AMBs. I have been given club lounge access a couple of times (my first visit as an AMB and another because I had to wait a long time past check-in time for my room to be ready). And I've only been offered paid club access @ 30 € per night once. And that was on my first ever visit there. Oh, and all of my stays there have been at the 2-4-1 rate program.

I was there earlier this year, a very, very fine property. Highly recommended!!!

I know people say that there is no ID req'd for this rate, but just want to triple check as the *asterisk by the Exclusive 2 for 1 rate says "Requires Affiliation in respective organization".

Who are/is the target audience for the 2 for 1 rate? Some sort of travel association?

Also, FYI...I am finding this rate throughout 2 day weekends in November.

What other nice properties in Europe or Worldwide are people finding this deal?

Edited to add....as I'm just browsing through properties in Poland in November I am finding the KIX in Krakow for about $35/night throughout November on the Advance Purchase and Best Flexible rates. Could be very cheap holiday.
