MrHalliday Jul 31, 12, 3:01 pm I only see EUR 65 pn. LRD Jul 31, 12, 3:28 pm Available at €32/night with the 2-4-1 IDEX1 (http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/ihg/hotels/us/en/reservation/findandbook?ratePreference=IDEX1) rate. LRD Jul 31, 12, 7:10 pm I am having troubles to see the deal and I followed the link provided above...The 2-4-1 rates won't display by default, even using the URL. You must remember to use the 'Rate Preference' pull-down menu and select the 'Exclusive 2 for 1' rate, not the 'best available' rate. garbus222 Aug 1, 12, 12:52 am Thank you! MrHalliday Aug 1, 12, 12:56 am The 2-4-1 rates won't display by default, even using the URL.Actually, it did come right up for me using the URL. :D Anyway... very nice rate! Thanks OP and LRD. ^ marqoos_pl Aug 1, 12, 4:21 pm It works for other IHG (InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express) hotels across Europe as well. Just change destination. *** IC in Warsaw is definitely the best hotel there. Even standard rooms are great! I absolutely love this hotel. And for that price that's just wrong not to use that, lol. crystak Aug 3, 12, 5:52 pm Is IDEX1 something they would definitely not ask an ID for? cfischer Aug 3, 12, 5:54 pm Is IDEX1 something they would definitely not ask an ID for? yeah, I use this all the time. It has been around forever. Publically available. Also earns points although it states that it does not (just as a warning) jason8612 Aug 5, 12, 5:04 am So it earns stay credit? cfischer Aug 5, 12, 6:34 am So it earns stay credit? It has for me in the past (for what it's worth). A320Fan Aug 5, 12, 12:58 pm Thanks for the tip; just booked at the 32.50 rate or ~45USD per night for Labor Day Weekend. womnko Aug 10, 12, 9:31 am It has for me in the past (for what it's worth). confirmed. it does. apolloms Aug 21, 12, 3:51 am reviews of the hotel? how is the club? Debating on booking this rate for 40 euro/night or using the BOGO for a 129 club room.....wondering what would be a better value taking into account the RA upgrade. lsed Aug 21, 12, 4:21 am looking up some of the history, some people got upgraded to junior suite (which has 2 separate rooms). not sure if it was on the 241 rate though. also club on weekends isnt that great apparently. I'll definitely not waste the BOGO on this. In fact I'll trade it with you if you don't need it lol. Best usage i feel is on Sundays. Monday rates can get really expensive (170 EUR for a recent booking I looked up). So if you can 2 for 1 on a Sunday, you get monday free. that's a steal. pazza2000 Aug 21, 12, 4:44 am reviews of the hotel? how is the club? Debating on booking this rate for 40 euro/night or using the BOGO for a 129 club room.....wondering what would be a better value taking into account the RA upgrade. The dates i have had my eye on have dissappeared. it was when i just checked....but will RA benefits be honored on a rate like that??? when I go to enter guest details it says i will earn 2000 points, so it must be a qualifying stay. pazza2000 Aug 21, 12, 7:35 am it was when i just checked....but will RA benefits be honored on a rate like that??? when I go to enter guest details it says i will earn 2000 points, so it must be a qualifying stay. What dates are you looking around for? I would suspect RA benefits would be honoured^ piotrzdebik Aug 21, 12, 7:42 am RA benefits are honoured on that rate - double upgrade or club lounge acess, free mini bar and welcome gift. This rate is eligible for points accumulation for the first night only. apolloms Aug 21, 12, 9:09 am RA benefits are honoured on that rate - double upgrade or club lounge acess, free mini bar and welcome gift. This rate is eligible for points accumulation for the first night only. shouldnt matter should it since its a blanket 2k points per stay + bonuses right? apolloms Aug 21, 12, 9:12 am What dates are you looking around for? I would suspect RA benefits would be honoured^ last weekend in sept Raffles Aug 22, 12, 1:12 am The rule on IDEX1 rates is that - if you look at the booking confirmation - you pay full for night 1 and nothing for night 2. Priority Club therefore treat it (on paper) as 1 fully qualifying night and 1 non-qualifying night, although most hotels post it as 2 qualifying nights. You also get full points, albeit only 2k as this is a European IC. If you do NOT get points, query it with PC and they will correct it. Points are 100% guarannteed. Note that if you enter all the codes in the sticky on the Priority Club board (eg '3000 points for your next stay'), you will get around 15,000 points for your stay, assuming you haven't used the codes before - that is enough for 3 Point Break nights or 1 night in a lot of Holiday Inn's. apolloms Aug 22, 12, 3:16 am so is the consensus that the weekend club is not that good? I need to book a room there this week and still debating over using this rate or one of my two BOGO on a club room and then taking the upgrade from the club room. canndlewic Sep 5, 12, 2:53 pm I just booked this for the last weekend in Sep for 40E/nt. ^ I've heard as an AMB you can usually negotiate club access vs room upgrade but I assume on a rate like this, your only choice would be room upgrade. Does anyone know what the front desk will offer as a paid upgrade to Club access? Fanjet Sep 8, 12, 6:35 pm I just booked this for the last weekend in Sep for 40E/nt. I've heard as an AMB you can usually negotiate club access vs room upgrade but I assume on a rate like this, your only choice would be room upgrade. Does anyone know what the front desk will offer as a paid upgrade to Club access? I believe that option is only available for RAs and not regular AMBs. I have been given club lounge access a couple of times (my first visit as an AMB and another because I had to wait a long time past check-in time for my room to be ready). And I've only been offered paid club access @ 30 € per night once. And that was on my first ever visit there. Oh, and all of my stays there have been at the 2-4-1 rate program. EXLEFTSEAT Sep 8, 12, 7:57 pm I was there earlier this year, a very, very fine property. Highly recommended!!! xenole Sep 11, 12, 5:22 am How does this work? I enter a Sat/Sun stay and it says €37.50 a night. Final price comes in at €75 for Saturday night and €0 for Sunday night. Or does this mean it's usually €75 a night but with the 2 for 1, it averages out as €37.50 a night? ADZ1616 Sep 12, 12, 2:05 am Is IDEX1 something they would definitely not ask an ID for? That is fully correct. ^ wannagoexplore Sep 26, 12, 9:07 pm I know people say that there is no ID req'd for this rate, but just want to triple check as the *asterisk by the Exclusive 2 for 1 rate says "Requires Affiliation in respective organization". Who are/is the target audience for the 2 for 1 rate? Some sort of travel association? Also, FYI...I am finding this rate throughout 2 day weekends in November. What other nice properties in Europe or Worldwide are people finding this deal? Thanks Edited to add....as I'm just browsing through properties in Poland in November I am finding the KIX in Krakow for about $35/night throughout November on the Advance Purchase and Best Flexible rates. Could be very cheap holiday. Another edit....I'm not sure if what I am finding are mistakes or not, but a few more examples....Sofia, Bulgaria and Brussels, Belgium between $19-40 per night. Even the Presidential Suite at CP Brussels is only $115/night Adam1222 Sep 26, 12, 11:52 pm If you're curious about the 2-4-1 IDEX rate, visit the IHG forum, as there are numerous threads there going back several years. krausolany Sep 27, 12, 6:24 am Another edit....I'm not sure if what I am finding are mistakes or not, but a few more examples....Sofia, Bulgaria and Brussels, Belgium between $19-40 per night.
