Finnair Plus - 100% OT: Toilets in Finnair Helsinki lounge

This is totally OT: This morning when in the non-Schengen lounge I wondered could those toilets possibly be designed any worse..I'm a fairly big guy and it's beyond my understanding why they need to add a sink in every single toilet room as they have plenty of "sink space" in the main area...the toilet rooms are already extremely small and the sink reduces the usable room to a bare minimum..

Just blowing off some steam. :D

I thought they were very nice! (was there last morning :p ) clean and nicely designed IMO. Though I agree they weren't exquisitely large.

Much nicer than the Schengen lounge! :)

Never thought of starting a thread on this topic..... but youre right. I will use lounge loos on long haul flight connections to change my clothes, and i remember thinking there wasnt really much room. Cant even fit in those loos with a roll-aboard bag in tow, IIRC.

You need to know the stepmarks for the Lounge ....... Entrydance :)

Bag in first, slight sidestep to get past the door, careful not wiping the toilet seat with the bag, close door, pull bag back against the door and ta-daa, you're in! :)

Should we have a vote about where to find the most pleasant thrones around the world?

My favourite is going to be BA's Galleries loos in LHR. Thats a rather premium sh*tting experience! :)

Personal favourites as "toilets", quite rarely enjoyed though, are the CCR Cabanas at LHR T5. In HEL Aspire-lounge near gate 27 has decent size toilets + shower room.
