National - Any Logic to RA#

Any reason why they don't go in sequential order? Are they based upon rental location?

Mine are in sequential order, but only from DAY and HPN. They seem to follow the pattern 123xxxxxx, where the 123 (not the actual numbers) are constant and the xxxxxx are monotonically increasing. Other locations have different offsets (CVG is increasing), while I don't have enough rentals at other locations.

I wonder why HPN and DAY, but none of the others (CVG, YYZ, SFO, and LGA come to mind), follow the same sequence?

Corporate locations seem to be 6XX with increasing contract numbers, my free day one way contracts are 9XX.

Judging on my rental history franchise locations use 7XX. I also have contracts beginning with 8 and 5 in my history. I think all of my Alamo contracts have been 7 as well.

My HPN and DAY rentals all start with 4 and are sequential (monotonically increasing) independent of one-way vs. r/t or paid vs. free day (either kind).

CVG (o/w and r/t, paid and free) rentals start with 9, are also monotonically increasing, but seem to be independent of other rentals.

There was no change when I went from Emerald nobody to Exec. (status match, now earned).

I don't think I've rented from a franchise location.
