Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - YVR Check-in Counter Opening Time for CX889

Does anyone happen to know what time the CX check-in counter at YVR opens for CX889 when it moves to the 02:10 departure slot? (Figured I'd ask here rather than clogging up the CX call centre, which is no doubt still dealing with post-Vincente fun.)

The last time we took this flight, I seem to recall that the F check-in counter was open as early as about 21:00 when we rolled up. I can't remember if J and Y were also open (I would think so), but in any case we're flying F again.

I totally forgot about that page - duh. You've just reminded me that I looked at it in preparation for our last Asia trip a couple of years back, and was thus surprised when we got to the CX counter around 2100 and it was already open. Thanks for refreshing my memory!

Oh good, so this means until Oct 29, it will be open as early as 1930.

So I can spend time at the lounge which also opens at 1930 while waiting for my 0230 CX889 flight the next day

They are open for the JFK bound 888 at 19:30, but you can also check in for your 889. However, I am not sure if the lounge will remain open after the departure of 888 though.

CX888 departs YVR at ~11pm; by that time, the first of the CX889 passengers would have checked in/be checking in, so I would assume that they would keep the lounge open through the departure of CX889.

The lounge is one of the reasons why this flight doesn't have preclearance.
