I recently took a trip from HKG to GUM via NRT on a B737-800 by old CO micronesia.
I was in FC (sold as business), and found it was domestic FC service, no menu, ice cream, and felt like in the US mainland. I was disappointed.
I have a trip coming soon from EWR-SJO via IAH (sold as business), I expect it will be the same domestic FC service, sucks big time.

This has been discussed on a number of other threads. You have other choices. When I went to Guam I flew KE in a 3 cabin 777 and the service was excellent (flight sold as 2 class and those of us that had C tkts sat in the F seats)
From Manilla to Tokyo ANA has a 767 with very nice service, from MNL-HKG, CX has a number of flights
All depends on what's more important to you. Miles or comfort (I'll take comfort, although I got full miles, etc for my ANA flight from MNL-NRT)
If however your on an upgrade, be thankful your not back in Y. I don't think UA pays much attention to complaints about service in C from pax that paid for Y
But your right. The "new" UA intra Asia service is a joke
