Hilton HHonors - Palmer House sued over 2010 death; woman slid down bannister and fell 4 stories

apparently this place is getting sued be a 23year old got drunk and fell to her death.

In modern America, no one is responsible for their own actions. If anything goes wrong it must be someone else's fault. Stupidity leads to litigation. No such thing as an accident anymore.

Wonder how much the tickets were?

Wonder if someone dared her to go down the banister or others were doing this ahead of her- either way a sad and tragic event- not sure that Hilton is the one to blame though :(

Well, I searched in the HH forum for "bannister" and the woman's last name and several other obvious keywords (other than "death," the only one you saw fit to include) and saw nothing on FT. Not going to look at every post on hundreds of threads mentioning Palmer House, sorry.

I know search is not the best, but one tip, especially if you 're checking to see if a news story item is already reported on a property, is to check the LAST few posts on that property's page. I went to the end of the Palmer House main page and there was the report of the lawsuit.

Just a word to those who try to do the right thing - much appreciated!
