Qantas Frequent Flyer - Using One World partner points in Qantas

Hi,
Im trying to buy a Qantas flight from Santiago, Chile to Sydney, and I have enought LAN points, but i dont want to buy the ticket via LAN, is there a way to "transform" my LAN points to Qantas points?

Are you trying to buy a ticket with money or miles/points ?
If you are trying a to get an award ticket you need to contact LAN (web or phone) and use your LAN miles/points

Lan is charging like crazy in the dates I want to use my miles because of the national holidays, Qantas is much cheaper on those dates. I want to know if Qantas will accept my Lan frequent flyer miles to buy a ticket (I know its a long shot, but just in case..)

If you can find a way of converting them to Qantas miles, then you will be able to use them through Qantas. But that transfer is (a) unlikely to be possible; and (b) even if possible, very likely to seriously devalue the LAN miles that you have, as transfer rates are usually very poor and you may have to transfer through several schemes to get them to Qantas.
