Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Any current method to move to C to F on LH (A380)?

I know for a long time there was a method using paper SWUs on a Z fare, but I believe that avenue has been closed.

So wondering if there are any options remaining to me. I'm on a Z-fare, LH flight number (not code-share) and have copious miles both in MP and sitting in Amex. Also open to methods that involve barter, paid ups, whatever.

Any options to move out up from C to F on LH these days if you're not a Miles & More customer?

You can buy up to D and then do a Star Alliance upgrade.

or use a GPU. But AFAIK there's no way to upgrade from z any more.

The only way to do that is to buy higher business class fare buckets like D or C or J and then to have some luck in redeeming your SWUs ;)
