An online booking I made on swiss.com about two weeks ago was ticketed immediately, and I have the email confirmation with the ticket number. My Amex online statement also immediately showed a reduction of the credit limit by the approximate amount of the cost of the ticket.
However today I see that the "hold" on the amex has been released. The booking is still intact when I log in and shows correctly including the ticket number.
The flight is in about ten days time. Should I be worried? And should I be calling LX?

I would not worry. Had a similar situation with an SQ ticket a month or two ago. CC got charged after about three weeks. Worst case scenario in cases like this, they ask to swipe your card again at check-in. So, just bring the CC you used with you.
