United MileagePlus (Consolidated) - No R/RN Visible - not R=0, but no R at all

I am flying DCA-IAH-BOG-MDE on Tuesday. The IAH-BOG (1007) does not even have an R or RN inventory bucket showing . I am wondering if this is a mistake and even if the flight was empty, my RPU will never clear because the system cannot create the inventory.
This is what shows when I click on the "fare class" link in my reservation:
Available Cabins: JN2, C2, D1, Y9, YN9, B9, M9, E9, U9, H9, HN9, Q9, V9, W9, S9, T9, L9, K9, G9, N0, XN6, X5
My reservation does show the waitlisted segment.
Granted, I know with only 2 open seats, it would be unlikely that the RPU would clear anyway, but I would like to know for the future before I throw away an RPU/GPU. I did clear on the first leg, so the RPU will be burned.

If R or RN are not showing up, that means R=0 and RN=0.

But I have had plenty of other reservations where R and RN = 0, but you can still see them, or at least I thought so. Are you saying that when R goes to zero then it just will not appear on .bomb, but it will appear if the system opens inventory?

Don't look for R/RN through your reservation but rather through a new dummy reservation. Check for inventory that way and it should be there.

Correct. I really don't understand why they hide it from the "view reservation" link. R and RN will appear when you search for a new flight, regardless of whether they are 0 or not.

Yep, it was there. Thanks much to all for the info.

I had been looking for R inventory on United.com for an October IAH-NRT segment for the past several weeks. Zero for the whole month. This morning I called up UA and the Rep found R availabilty for Oct 2. It still showed zero on United.com, so I guess the lesson here is always make a call, there must be a time delay from what they see and what the website displays.

Interesting. I wonder how common this is?
