First post here and happy to start with something for my European friends or the North American ones into RTW MR ;)

Very nice find; thanks for sharing. I have been playing around with this and finding bookable flights in that price range. Now to find the time to do it and positioning flights, not as easy.

HKG also around this price.

This is pretty good. I will not be using the fare posted but might well do a MAD-HKG as it is coming in at $659 and if I can get a decent fare to MAD that will do me well over the US Thankgiving holiday.

In calculating CPM you're speaking in € not $, right? I'm not seeing 4.4 in USD (at least on ITA)

That calculation is correct. I was inquiring if the CPM was EUR not USD because I don't see anything at $619. At least on ITA or ba.com. Showing 787 EUR. If it was in USD, the fare appears to be gone.

Still some good fares on other carries out of MAD/BCN/AGP to NRT. 3.7CPM (EUR) possible.

The AGP-LGW-HND would involve a change of airports in London from LGW to LHR.
BA does NOT fly LGW-HND, the flight is LHR-HND. So a bus or train ride would be needed to switch airports.

This fare has gone very fast... As most of the MR one !

QR is a not too bad airline but DOH is a nightmare for long lasting night transits - AND don't forget QR will be gone with Star Alliance on Sept 14.2012 and MR will be useless from that date.

I agree DOH is a dump

However QR has NEVER announced any moves with Star Alliance yet. In fact there is speculation in the QR Management that they will choose OW over Star.

I don't know if it was officially announced by QR but this is what you can find on UA website :

"Our MileagePlus® partnership with Qatar Airways will terminate on September 14, 2012. Flights on or after September 15, 2012, will not be eligible for mileage accrual. Members may claim mileage credit for Qatar Airways flights flown on or before September 14, 2012, through March 13, 2013."

What a pitty :td: I'm not flying anymore with EK, I'll have to do the same with QR... Now the only options for me will be GF and SV... What a pgrm :D

QR was not a member of *A but just a mileage earning partner with UA.

I'm seeing these fares again.
