American Express Membership Rewards - Would guest access on Priority Pass be a good benefit to add for USA Platinum Cards?

With more Chase products out there, the benefits of the platinum card is beginning to be less competitive. Some of chase lounge card give guest access while our priority pass does not. Now, while access to the other lounges (aa,us, delta) is great, the loss of some airline participation has stung. I believe guest access on PP would be a nice benefit to add.

As I understand as part of the new Plat benefits unveiled a few months back, the benefit to guest PP in in the process of been implemented.

We will receive new PP cards as part of that.

Guest access would be useless for me, there are any number of things that would be more useful.

We will receive new PP cards as part of that.Existing cards remain valid. The guest access/charge is taken care of behind the scenes.

Don't forget that this is part of the 50% increase in annual fee with marginal extra benefits.
