We're traveling NYC-SFO on the 17th Nov, returning 26th Nov, if that helps. When there is a price you are comfortable with.... jump on it. No one here can divine an optimum time, other then thier guesses. I will jump on it if UA ever releases a sensible fare, I was just hoping that there might be a pattern that the wisdom of FlyerTalk had noticed over the years for such a peak travel season (this is our first Thanksgiving in the US).
