Perhaps a tad late to ask...

Hubby and I are off to Russia early next month. We'll be on a river cruise. However, we will have a whole day to ourselves in Moscow and we think we would feel more comfortable if we could hire a guide to take us around.

Hope we can get some good advice on this forum.

Thanks!!

Are you staying in the city? Do you only have 1 day? I think that the Kremlin, Red Square and St Basil's cathedral can be squeezed into a day. If you get a guidebook you will see they are all in one small area.

I agree. Easily done in a day. You can rent a guide on the spot when you arrive. They are all over the place looking for folks just like you. If you want a personal reference of someone I've trusted for 20 years PM me.

Enjoy your day either way!
