I'll be traveling from LAX to SGN. I used CSP to pay the tax for the trip and used 32500 miles to get the reservation. How many free bags am I allowed? Why does it say 0 CNY two times but the link for card says only 1 free bag allowed? I also have a MP explorer card that I forgot to use to book the trip.

Short answer 2 bags
Long answer - The credit card bag wavier benefit is not additive. I you have multiple bag waivers, you get the most generous benefit. It this case the basic benefit is 2 bags (for USA-Vietnam travel -- most significant carrier Air China) and no credit card benefit adds nothing additional.

Chinese Yuan ($).

MSC rules apply here since you start with CA and CA code flight. If CP is not at a CA gateway city, I think the US DOT rule says the check-in carrier's rule applies, right?
