Budget - Booking pickup truck problem

I am trying to book a one way rental of a pickup truck from MCI, drop off STL.
I can book the pickup for a roundtrip, but it seems as if half of the booking categories disappear when I change the reservation to a one way rental.
Is there any way around this, or am I doing something wrong online?

Most major rental companies specialize in one-ways between corporate stores. If you're booking a regular car, such as an Impala or Rio, that normally is not a problem. However, demand for specialty vehicles tends to be more region-specific. So the supply is lower, and more fixed.
What I can suggest is checking National's thread for Cars at MCI. See if people have reported seeing pickup trucks on the Emerald Aisle. (It's free to join the Emerald Club. With a midsize reservation at large airports, you can pick an upgrade from the Emerald Aisle, which has cars midsize or higher.) If so, check their one-way rates and book midsize if they are competitive.
Also evaluate other options: other large car or SUV classes, one-way U-Haul, etc.

We really wanted a pickup (for moving a sofa), and it seems only Budget and National have this car category.
National has specifically told us that one way rentals are not allowed on "speciality" vehicles, which I guess explains why certain car categories, such as pickup trucks, might disappear on Budget's website.

There is always U-Haul (http://www.uhaul.com/Reservations/EquipmentDetail.aspx?model=BP).
