LAN LANPASS - LAN & TAM Question

Hi, everybody. I'm pretty new to the forum. I've read it a lot of time, but never posted. I'm a Premium Silver in LANPASS, struggling to get my Comodoro badge.

I have a question, if a fly a LAN coded flight but operated by TAM, would I get miles for my status (in order to get closer for being Comodoro)?

Other questions, if a fly a TAM coded flight (JJ) but operated by LAN, would I get the status points?

At the moment you just get award miles, no status miles if you are flying on tam, even if coded Lan.

From the LanPass Terms and conditions:

8.2 For the purpose of earning kilometers, any flight operated by any airline, but using, for any reason, LAN code on the ticket, shall be deemed a valid flight to earn kilometers and to qualify the member for Premium, Premium Silver and Commodore categories, provided such is carried out with fares, routes and dates that allow the earning of LANPASS kilometers.

8.2 Para efectos de acumulación de kilometraje, todo vuelo operado por cualquier línea aérea, pero que utilice, por cualquier razón, código de LAN en su pasaje, será considerado como vuelo válido para acumular kilometraje y para calificar en las categorías Premium, Premium Silver y Comodoro, siempre que se haya realizado en tarifas, rutas y fechas que permitan la acumulación de kilómetros LANPASS.

Wow --- who'd have thought they could accomplish that feat? :D

I´m just hoping I´ll be able to use the GRU TAM lounge in January. From the little I can glean on FT threads, other OW lounges there are comparable to the dismal one in EZE.

Actually the Admiral's Club in GRU is considerably better than the bares bones version at EZE, but the TAM lounge is still better. Beware though of the TAM domestic lounge which is truly awful!
