iris30 is in town in early August and we thought we'd have a DO at Katy's Dumpling House in Westmont. 6 pm, Tues., August 7.

They advertise "Traditional Hand-pulled Noodles & Handmade Dumplings" and I almost always stop there for lunch when I am in the area. Cash only and I am pretty sure it's BYOB.

Wish I could join you all, as that is our old neighborhood . . . we lived in Downers Grove and Dad worked at Carrier Corporation in Westmont.
And, I LOVE dumplings!

Given that the restaurant's seating capacity is about 20-22, the reaction from the staff of having 10-12 of us wander in should be interesting.

I will try to make it, and since this place is tiny, may I suggest to have an after dinner bar so we can enjoy a couple of cold ones.

Sorry, turns out I am "out of position" and can not make it tonight. I thought I would be in my office just down 55st st, but i am actually at McCormick Place today and not up to driving out to Westmont. Catch you next time.
