Other Car Rental Programs (ie. Alamo, Enterprise) - Alamo additional driver, Kiosk and checkout

I have one free additional driver and added my wife to the reservation using the "Save Time" option. Al the data (both DLs, etc) is already on the reservation. The lot is "Pick your ride" so I plan to use the Kiosk and show the rental agreement at the exit booth.
My idea is to pick up the car while my wife is waiting for the luggage.

Now the doubt:
Is my wife physical presence needed during the checkout or showing her DL at the booth is enough?

I have rented with my wife's information on the
check-in, and in three instances, they have never
asked for her driver's license at checkout.
