Mid-Atlantic - Cheapest way to get to Atlantic City from Philadelphia?

I'm sure some of you guys know that I'm currently in NYC. I'm pretty sure that Atlantic City is closer to Philly than NYC so that's why Philly will be my base unless someone corrects me. Is Megabus the cheapest way to get over to Atlantic City? I think round trip from NYC is $36.

I am not sure what transportation is avail between NYC & Atlantic City, however, you can get between NYC & 30th Street Station, Philly via the following public transportation:
Megabus
Bolt Bus
Greyhound / Greyhound Express (Bus station for Greyhound is near China Town/convention center)
Combo NJT & Septa
Amtrak

Greyhound/Greyhound express offers casino junkets between Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
