From airline route (http://airlineroute.net/2012/07/26/sn-edi-w12):

SN is to end their codeshare arrangement with BD on EDI-BRU on 28OCT and launch their own EDI-BRU service, initially as daily (x6) service, then moving from 31MAR to a double daily at almost the same time as the first and last BD rotations. SN will use an A319.

Now that looks almost vindictive.

(Reminder that SN has pulled the wetlease contracts for NCL-BRU and BRS-BRU from BD-R as well, and put them to BE).

I really hope that the new owners of Regional have something planned, otherwise it really doesn't look good for them

I've said all along they won't make it work....even with making major cutbacks in staffing levels as well as other areas which they said they wouldn't do.

I expect the worst.

Maybe that's their plan - just to wetlease to other people?

As I understand Regional are getting 4 or 5 a/c back from BD mainline/BA at end of Oct and 2 a/c back from SN leases at the same time so they need to move them on or find routes for them.

Well the aircraft themselves are no longer owned by regional as I understand it

I think some clarity on operations from the start of the winter schedule would be nice for the staff
