Edit: sorry forgot to put AA in the title.

Leaving Sept 17/18/19 returning as late as Sept 28. Found on accident. Sharing in case it helps anyone. Didn't do anything to try to up the miles either, so creative routings might also help.

I realize the number of days hurts it. But I didn't look too hard either. Opening it up here to anyone looking. Also wouldn't make a half bad end of summer trip.

Newly retired and a newbie to FT. Reading all I can but still have so many questions. Love the fare (647 in november) and need the miles for elite status but the booking code shows as a "0" on the ITA matrix. Does this mean I would only earn 0.5 miles per mile flown toward Elite Qualifying Miles? Appreciate the patience and kindness to show to others new to the site.

Should be letter "O". You will earn 0.5 elite qualifying "points" per flown mile, but you will earn 1 elite qualifying "mile" per flown mile. Unless you book a lot of higher fares, this won't make a big difference. This assumes that all segments are booked with an AA flight number. The AA forum has an FAQ detailing the differences.

Thank you for the clarification. I will review the AA Forum again. The fare is gone now. Another lesson learned.
